Established by parents in 1998, our Children’s Jewish Studies Program is designed to provide children with a positive Jewish experience, an understanding of their heritage and history, a vibrant relationship with the diversity of the Jewish people, and a sense of belonging to our rich and unique culture.

Program takes place on Thursday afternoons, 4:15 – 6:15 pm, from September to May.

We value Judaism as a dynamic, living religion rooted and nourished by tradition while evolving with contemporary questions, sensibilities, and concerns.  With an emphasis on the arts, Jewish culture, sources and stories, creative learning, and healthy debate, we guide students not only in learning the content of Jewish life, but in practicing the ways that being Jewish is expressed in our values, beliefs, and behaviour.  We thoughtfully and openly embrace the broad spectrum of Jewish backgrounds and interfaith and intercultural families.
