Founded in 1998 to address the growing need for Jewish educational alternatives in downtown Toronto, Paul Penna Downtown Jewish Day School is committed to academic excellence in a dynamic environment. Building upon and surpassing the core skills and knowledge outlined by the Ontario Ministry of Education, our SK to Grade 8 integrated curriculum weaves together the Jewish and general facets of children’s lives to develop a meaningful Jewish identity.
